 YFA PACKAGES THE VISIONARY PACKAGE Youth Film Academy directing students will work with state-of-the-art equipment and will be exposed to all aspects of this visual medium. Our highly trained staff and visiting guest speakers will challenge our future directors. To celebrate our filmmakers’ talent and dedication, they will be rewarded with an exclusive red carpet premiere where their projects will screen for friends and family. THE SUPERSTAR PACKAGE Students enrolled in the superstar package will be taught how to apply various techniques to film and television. From day one they will get to experience the work that goes into filmmaking from understanding the casting process to final editing choices. At the end of the program, they will have a body of work that will be noticed by industry professionals in film festivals and television programming. YFA will showcase their best work in a glamorous red carpet premiere for their friends and family.  THE PARAMOUNT PACKAGE In this ultimate filmmaking/acting package, participants will experience what is like to work in front as well as behind the camera. “Behind the Camera,” they will learn the craft of the movie director. What it takes to become a visionary—from coming up with an original concept to completing a final project that can be seen in movie theaters around the world. “In Front of the Camera,” they will experience what it takes to be a successful actor, from learning the craft of acting, to attending auditions with producers and directors, to ways to market yourself to agents, personal managers and film and TV executives. Their efforts will culminate in a red carpet gala screening in our movie theater where parents, family members and friends will celebrate the YFA graduates’ directing and acting accomplishments. THE BEGINNER PACKAGE This intense program includes classes focusing on Camera work, Techniques, TV & Film Studies. Students will not only develop a thorough understanding of acting and directing, but will also be taught valuable tips of how to thrive in the Film and Television Industry. We offer a combination of programs specializing in Commercials, Television and Film Studies. HOLLYWOOD CELEBRITY SERIES Youth Film Academy’s monthly one-day workshops bring Hollywood to YFA with famous celebrities, actors, producers and directors. Our guests are highly respected professionals who are prepared to share their industry trade secrets. They have created, directed, produced or starred in some of the most popular TV shows: “Hannah Montana,” “Wizards of Waverly Place,” “Suite life of Zack and Cody” as well as blockbusters like “Bourne Identity” “Legally Blonde” and the “Mr & Mrs Smith.”  |
