HISTORY


The Youth Film Academy was established by individuals who have decades of experience in areas of the entertainment industry. Youth Film Academy founding members have had vital roles in directing, producing, financing and casting some of today’s most successful Hollywood entertainment projects.

They have gathered to create a unique film and television curriculum that is geared towards today’s quickly changing, fast-paced film and television industry. Their projects include Disney Channel television shows like “Hannah Montana,” “High School Musical,” “Cory in the House,” “That’s so Raven,” “Wizards of Waverly Place,” “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” and “Camp Rock.” Youth Film Academy founders are also responsible for hit movies like “Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” “The Bourne Identity,” “Legally Blonde,” “American Pie,” “Jumper,” “The Departed” and The Twilight Saga: New Moon

In August 2007, YFA introduced a children’s division , opening an exciting new chapter in the history of filmmaking by offering kids and teens new opportunities in the media arts. YFA has spared no expense converting into a state-of-the-art film and Television facility and performance space
